Janiuay wanted man nabbed By Ruby p. Silubrico
A WANTED person was arrested Tuesday afternoon by operatives of Janiuay Police Station in Barangay Pandan, Lambunao, Iloilo.
Ronnie Fabila, 36, of Barangay Alugmawa, Lambunao, is facing a murder case.
Fabila, who is now detained at the Janiuay Police Station, was arrested by policemen led by Chief Insp. Eugenio Espejo, Janiuay police chief, around 5:30 p.m. through a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Domingo Diamante of the 11th Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Janiuay-Badiangan.
The bailbond is P200,000.
Fabila is among the three suspects who allegedly shot Lito Casquete of Barangay Tambal, Janiuay dead last February over a land dispute.
His companions were reportedly his brother and his uncle, who is from Maasin, Iloilo.
Espejo said Fabila was under surveillance for almost a month before he was arrested.
But Fabila denied the accusation, saying he has no knowledge of the incident.
