Actual canvass to start Tuesday: Drilon

GROUNDBREAKING. Senate Pres. Franklin Drilon, architect Pedro Ortigas, Gov. Neil Tupas Sr. and Pototan Mayor Pablo Perez during the groundbreaking ceremony of the Iloilo Rehabilitation Center at Barangay Nangan, Pototan Saturday.

THE actual canvassing of votes for the national level will be held in Congress Tuesday, said Senate Pres. Franklin Drilon.

Over 150 COCs out of 177 are already with the Senate. Presidential spokesman Ignacio Bunye also assured the opposition that 14 lawmakers from Senate and the House of Representatives would ensure that the canvassing would be credible.
