Tupas to receive PHA achievement award
ILOILO Gov. Niel Tupas Sr. will receive the Philippine Hospital Association (PHA) Presidential Achievement Award during the awarding rites on November 25 at the Manila Hotel.
The awarding rites is one of the main activities of PHA's 55th Annual National Convention.
PHA president Tiburcio S. Macias, in a letter addressed to the governor, said Tupas was unanimously chosen by the Committee on Awards in recognition of his leadership in promoting quality and excellence in the provision of health care and hospital service despite the limited resources and other constraints under a devolved setting.
The convention, which will start on November 24th, carries the theme, "Hospitals, Crossing the Quality and Productivity Chasm in Health Care."
PHA is the largest national organization of private and government hospitals in the country. (PR)
