Alimodian recipient of agri projects from DA
THE Department of Agriculture will turn-over agricultural projects to the municipality of Alimodian during simple rites on April 28 at Barangay Cabacanan Proper, Seven Cities, Alimodian.
The projects include Agricultural Tramline System Project, Greenhouse and Post Trading Center.
The Bi-cable tramline system in the "Seven Cities" of Alimodian was designed primarily to eliminate the drudgery of manually hauling the vegetable products from the mountain gardens to the access road. Seven Cities area now produces Integrated Pest Management (IPM) high-value vegetables.
Alimodian Mayor Juanito Alipao said these agricultural projects are seen to uplift their town's agricultural development.
Expected to grace the activity are Gov. Niel Tupas, Tesda Director General Augusto Syjuco, 2nd District Rep. Judy Syjuco, DA ASEC/HVCC Salvador Salacup, BPRE-PHSD Director 1 Engr. Raul Paz and Bureau of Post Harvest Research and Extension Regional Director Ricardo Cachuela.
