Dog walk for a cause on May 8
TO PROTEST cruelty against animals, especially dogs, a nationwide dog walk for a cause will take place on May 8.
The simultaneous walk will take place in Iloilo City, Baguio, Batangas, Bohol, Bukidnon, Bulacan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, General Santos, La Union, Laguna, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Tarlac and Cavite.
Titled "Luv ko c Bantay," the event is sanctioned by the Philippine Canine Club, Incorporated. It is in cooperation with the Department of Agriculture Bureau of Animal Industry, Philippine Animal Welfare Society, Boy Scouts of the Philippines, Animal Kingdom Foundation, National Pitbull Terrier Club, Incorporated, Philippine Pitbull Club, American Bulldog Club, United Pitbull Club, Bukidnon Association of Registered Kennels, Iloilo Kennel Club and Kathy's Precious Kennel in Iloilo City.
Concerned residents are invited to join. Those who are interested to join are required to bring an updated rabies certification.
For Iloilo City, the assembly place is at Robinsons Place Iloilo, 5 a.m.
