Still no clues on perpetrators' identities By Ruby P. Silubrico
NO suspects have been identified yet on the death of two Indian nationals who were stabbed in their boardinghouse in Barangay Atabay, San Jose, Antique last April 28.
Chief Superintendent Doroteo Reyes II, regional director of Police Regional
Office 6 Wednesday said that they are coordinating with a tricycle driver who saw the three perpetrators because they rode in his tricycle.
However, Reyes said that the driver did not know the three persons and can only identify them through their faces.
"But, we are hoping that the driver can give us a lead even if only through their faces," Reyes said.
Reyes was suspicious that the killers are not from the place "because the driver can't identify them."
It was learned that the victims, Marjinder Singh and Wildavinder Singh were found dead after three unidentified men entered their rented house and stabbed them on April 28 at around 7:30 p.m. while their other companions, Balber Singh and Joggy Singh went to the nearby town.
Upon arrival in their boardinghouse, Balber, Joggy and Chaozar were surprised when they were approached and stabbed by one of the perpetrators.
Chaozar was able to escape and sought the help. Reported missing was a P7,000 cash owned by the victims.
The police are still following the angle on business as the motive behind the crime.
