A POLICE officer and 15 tanod members survived after their community police assistance center in Aglalana, Passi City was strafed Friday by more than 10 members of the New People's Army (NPA).

Superintendent Cornelio Defensor, deputy provincial director for operations of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (Ippo) said the incident happened at around 1 a.m. while PO3 Pardones and the tanod members of Aglalana were on duty.
