City Police has more rookie cops
By Ruby P. Silubrico

THE Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) was beefed up after the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) assigned 13 rookie policemen there.

ICPO Director Senior Supt Norlito Bautista said that the said cops will be divided and will be assigned in six precincts and in the ICPO.

"This is a big help for us especially for our personnel. We need more policemen for police visibility," he said.

Bautista added that he is expecting 20 to 30 more cops next year in order to meet the ICPO's quota.

Meanwhile, Bautista has warned the public to watch for their belongings while shopping in various malls despite the presence of uniformed personnel.
