ICPO braces v. armed group in Jaro
By Ruby P. Silubrico

THE Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) has recently strengthened its police visibility after an armed group was spotted in the boundary of Jaro and Leganes.

ICPO Director Senior Supt Norlito Bautista yesterday said that he had tasked the Police Precinct 3 (PP3)of Jaro to act on the alleged presence of armed group.

"I already ordered Chief Insp. Khasmir Disomangcop to conduct checkpoints and maximize their personnel in their area," Bautista said.

Reports showed that at least seven armed persons were seen roaming the Jaro district and in the town of Leganes.

They were reportedly armed, thus the community was alarmed and reported the incident to the police.

"We are now mobilizing our intelligence personnel to monitor the said group and identify them. What we are doing right now maximize our police visibility," Bautista added.
