Jealous husband's rage boomerangs
A JEALOUS husband's rage caused him to send an improvised bomb to his wife in Manila but boomerangs after his package exploded on two teeners instead.
Esteban Sebastian of Patnungon, Antique, in an interview with Aksyon Radyo Wednesday, said he suspected that his wife was having an affair.
He said when his wife sent toys to their kids, he found a letter with an initial "R" beside his wife's name.
He thus made an improvised bomb, sealed it in a package and sent it to his wife's friend, Merlinda, who was scheduled to leave for Manila this week.
However, Merlinda's two children opened the package, thus it exploded. They are now confined in an undisclosed hospital.
"I thought she was having an affair. So, I made a bomb so that it would impair her in order for her to come home and never go back to Manila. I did it out of rage," he said.
Sebastian is now detained at the Patnungon Police Station.
