Board approves additional pay for Capitol employees
THE Provincial Capitol's regular employees will soon have a P1,000 increase as their additional compensation (Adcom) after the Provincial Board approved the appropriation for funding the same Tuesday in its regular session.
The same appropriation was contained in the statement of appropriations of Board Member Niel Tupas Jr, chairman of the Committee on Appropriations made for approval of the body.
According to reports, approximately in three weeks time, a total of P26.364 million will be released for the Adcom.
Employees hired through job orders are not included.
The Adcom is in line with the approval of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo of the increase among Local Government Units.
This is also based on the Department of Budget and Management guidelines approving the dole out for employees depending on their respective availability of funds.
The Capitol has 2,197 elective and appointive employees. (LABB)
