Councilor reaches out to Simon and Ma. Cristina residents

SOME 166 benefited from a medical mission conducted in Brgy. Ma. Cristina and Simon Ledesma, Jaro Iloilo City last March 10.

Congratulations to the graduates of 2006! Post your graduation experiences and greetings here.


Dubbed as "Ikaayong Lawas Mo, Kalipay Ko", this activity was sponsored by City Councilor Merci Garcia.

Beneficiaries availed of free check up, ECG and medicines.

Dr. Julie de la Gente gave free 10 slots for CXR - PA view, an X-ray examination for those suspected with tuberculosis.

Meanwhile, volunteers from the Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP 6) checked the vital signs of patients.

The volunteers were FSI Bartolome Beliran, FOI Aldrey Aligaen, FO2 Jose Leo Onayan, FO3 Jonalyn Tomines, FO2 Lorna Parcellano, FO1 Romeo Aguillar, NUP Paula Lailahnee Sobrevega and FO1 Norbie Joy Acero.

Thankful

One beneficiary said, "Happy gid ako kay naghiwat sila sang medical mission diri sa amon barangay, di na kami magpalibug bakal bulong (I'm happy that they held a medical mission in our barangay. We need not worry about buying medicines)."

Year-round

Garcia, chairman of the City Council's Committee on Social Services and Disaster Relief said, "This will be a year-round medical mission in various barangays of Iloilo City."
