Gallar admits calling traffic aides 'gago'
BOARD Member Emmanuel Gallar admitted calling four traffic aides as "gago" Tuesday.
This after the latter indicated in a blotter report that Gallar called them "gago" in the practice of their duty "with no apparent reason."
Traffic auxiliaries Christopher Mondeja, Yanky Ceralvo, Andrew Drilon and Yanky Ladri in their blotter report stated that at 3 p.m. yesterday, when they were having their duty at crossing Taft North, Mandurriao, Gallar passed the area and said, "To, pangdakpa gani na ang ga-obstruct. Ginaswelduhan kamo pro daw mga gago kamo," with no apparent reason.
In the report, it was narrated that after five minutes, Gallar came back and said to a certain Marlon (also a traffic aide), "Sin-o ang duha ka mga gago da (Who are those two stupid aides)?" while pointing to where the four are located.
In a radio interview yesterday, Gallar said he called them "gago" because "they did not mind my complaint."
Gallar said when he was crossing Taft North where the traffic aides were assigned, a vehicle from the same lane turned right and blocked his way.
He then opened the window of his car and waved to ask the said persons to call the attention of the vehicle driver, but the said auxiliaries did not give him attention.
He said he waved at them again but received no response, thus he was disappointed, causing him to say "gago."
