Lost Letter: From Gian To Rheena

Note: This is the lost love letter of Gian to Rheena. This is supposedly the answer to their misunderstanding. This was found in File 13.

Congratulations to the graduates of 2006! Post your graduation experiences and greetings here.

Dear Rheena,

I WAS kind of surprised to know you wrote a letter. I got it when I scanned the book you've returned. I was surprised ... I mean, I never realized you'd do it, what with your personality. I thought of the effort you had put it in on that letter. Anyway, you said you enjoyed reading the book. Well, you should because it could make you laugh. To hear you laugh and to see the smile on your face are my rewards.

Rhen, I have a lot of fun when I'm with you. Remember our first meeting? You hit me hard. Where did that strength come from? Are you going to the gym? Just kidding. It's all right. At least with that incident, our paths crossed. If I would live my next life, I want to meet you again, that way.

It made me recall Fantastic Four, the first movie I watched. I was boastful when I told you how pretty Jessica Alba was and that I'm sure you'd love the movie. But I was dismayed when I found out you like horror movies at the exact time that I bought tickets for Fantastic Four. Worse, when Jessica's kissing scene rolled on the widescreen, you started talking about "Chainsaw Massacre", "The Ring" and "The Grudge." I said to myself, "why talk now?" I mean, I waited too long to see that kiss but your eyes grew three centimeters more and you told spooky stories. U-huh, got me scared.

Oh, but I was just pretending (not to like horror movies). If you knew, you probably knocked me off. But it seems that I already watched the movies you've talked about. In fact, I know more horror flicks than you do. Of course, I did not make it too obvious. But I listened eagerly to every word you said because I seldom see you tell stories with your lungs out as if yours were more exciting than my lolo's.

You like chocolate. I love coffee. If combined, that's mocha. I love beer. You hate its smell. We have different tastes but we have one thing in common --- music. And its always the topic I would like to return to if I have nothing left to say.

I always read your letter and always want to reply you. But I doubt, I will send it to you. This letter is address to you but this is for myself. My answer to all your questions and all your doubts: I'm doing this without asking for anything in return. A thank you from you is more than enough. In this ocean of strangers, I really thank God you walked my path.

I will always be here for you. I will never leave you. This, I promise.

I love you.

Sincerely,

Gian
