Zarraga, Tigbauan lead Iloilo's top performing tax collectors

MUNICIPALITIES of Zarraga and Tigbauan were awarded as Top Performing Realty Tax Collectors and Assessors of the province Tuesday.

Congratulations to the graduates of 2006! Post your graduation experiences and greetings here.


The award is in connection with the celebration of the 105th Semana sang Iloilo under Governor Niel Tupas.

Elma Barrera, municipal treasurer of Zarraga with Mayor Gregorio Brazas and Tigbauan's municipal assessor Gonsejo Umabong under Mayor Myrna Montealegre Torres were awarded.

Other top performers in Realty Tax Collection were: Calinog, Valentin Subrecudo, treasurer and mayor Alex Centena-2nd place; 3rd Place- Sta. Barbara, Helen Solomia, treasurer and Mayor Isabelo Maquino; 4th Place- Mina, Anna Lourdes Espirito, tresurer and Mayor Rey Grabato; 5th Place- Bingawan, Amalia Pamucol, treasurer and Mayor Ted Peter Plagata; 6th Place- San Miguel, Ma. Teresita Tagumpay, oic tresurer and Mayor Gregorio Villarico; 7th Place- San Dionisio, Vicente Gonzales, tresurer and Mayor Pio Villanueva; 8th Place- Dingle, Heide Porquez, treasurer and Mayor Robin Solinap; 9th Place- Guimbal, Ma. Asuncion Isabel Gargalicarao, treasurer and Mayor Richard Garin; and 10th Place- New Lucena, Ma. Nelia Fernandez and Mayor June Mondejar.

While for the Top Performers in Realty tax Assessment were: 2nd place- Mina, Dory Ileno and Mayor Rey Grabato; 3rd Place- Tubungan, Elnora Tabugo, assessor and Mayor Victor Tabaquirao; 4th Palce- Janiuay, Rene Camer, assessor and Mayor Bienvenido Margarico; 5th Place- San Enrique, Julie Paclibar and Mayor Rosario Mediatrix Tupas;

6th Place- Calinog, Noel Robles, assessor and Mayor Alex Centena; 7th Place- Banate, Vilma Lasolida, assessor and Mayor Carlos Cabangal, Jr.; 8th Place- Bingawan, Fely Celeste, assesor and Mayor Ted Peter Plagata; 9th Place- Barotac Nuevo, Raly Bañoging, assessor and Mayor Pedro Hautea; and 10th Place- Dingle, Rolly Luceño, assessor and Mayor Robin Solinap.
