Teens await school opening
By Ruby Supranes and Kristine Palomar

SUMMER is about to end. Opening of classes is about to start.

The opening of classes is an awaited moment for every student after the long vacation. They have different reasons why they look forward for this.

Arroyo Watch: Sun.Star blog on President Arroyo

Here are some of the things that students are looking forward to this June 5

I'm looking forward for the new faces in the college especially from those in the freshmen batch. --Joenessa Mae Demaisip, 19, Roxas City

I am looking forward to have more admirers and to be able to make it to the top ten in our class. --Charmaine Laplana, 15, Dueñas, Iloilo

Well, school opening would mean I could have my allowance again that was temporarily stopped during summer vacation. And at the same time felt nervous because it will be our last year in college. --Analize Celiz, 19, Lapuz, Iloilo City

I am excited for the opening of classes and at the same time feel nervous because I have no idea about college life since I am a freshmen student this opening. --Kristina Labid, 16, Dueñas, Iloilo

I do not expect a lot from the opening of classes simply because I am a person who loves surprises. --Ma. Graziella Tanaleon, 19, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo

This school opening, I am expecting for more suitors and to see my beloved professor. Of course I am hoping that this year I would be able to pass all my subjects. --Rocy Mae Vargas, 18, Estancia, Iloilo

For practical reason, I am expecting more expenses especially for my allowance and tiring times in studying my lessons. --Kenny Rose de la Torre, 17, Lambunao, Iloilo
