Lapuz exec: Bogus deals went thru City Accounting

A VILLAGE official confirmed Thursday that at least 39 spurious barangay documents passed the City Accounting Office (CAO) that resulted to the massive unauthorized bank withdrawals against their account.

Lapuz barangay chief Eva Nobleza examined documents from the accounting office and it appears that said one person prepared the documents. This also includes the falsification of barangay officials' signatures.
