Break-up with girlfriend leads helper to kill self By Ruby P. Silubrico
DEPRESSION due to a break-up led a 24-year-old helper to commit suicide inside his room yesterday at Don Francisco Village, Jaro.
Rolly Sojillo of Maayon, Capiz, a helper of Erlinda Arostique, was depressed after his girlfriend reportedly broke up with him.
He was found dead at 8:30 a.m.
It was learned that Sojillo's girlfriend, Vicvic delos Santos, works in Metro Manila. Prior to the incident, they had a misunderstanding that prompted her to break up with him.
Delo Santos reportedly got angry because Sojillo changed his SIM pack, thus she was not able to contact him. She further accused him as a liar.
However, despite his explanation that his friend borrowed his cell phone, she broke up with him.
She admitted over a radio interview that they had a misunderstanding but did not expect that he'll commit suicide.
Meanwhile, the Jaro Police are conducting an investigation if it was really a suicide or if there was foul play.
