INVOKING "lack of trust", the village heads in Mandurriao decided to hold an election and choose a new president.

Ramonito Gentogratis, spokesperson of the Association of Barangay Captains (ABC) of Mandurriao, said 13 of the 18 village heads decided to hold an election.
