Dog show for oil spill victims set on Sunday
IN AN effort to contribute to the victims of the MT Solar 1 oil spill in Guimaras Island, the Iloilo Kennel Club, through its president Jhong Grabato, is holding a Fun Match on September 10, 2006 at the Robinsons Place Iloilo.
On how dog lovers can contribute to this fund-raising effort, is easy. For a registration of P100, a dog can already compete and have fun in this event. The said amount will be given to the Province of Guimaras, through Governor Rahman Nava, a member of IKC.
Registration is at 9 a.m. and the show will start at 10:30 a.m.
This event is another venue for families to enjoy their Sunday with their pets while at the same time, serve a cause.
The event's sponsor is Royal Canin, a company that continues to make innovations with its dog food so as to promote good health, energy and longevity on one's pet. This is the leading dog food in Europe and is now being sought after by Ilonggos as well.
