Municipal council member dies during session
By Lory Ann B. Bilbao

MUNICIPAL councilors of Pototan, Iloilo failed to save the life of their colleague Francisco Parcon who suffered a heart attack at the height of Monday's session.

Sun.Star Network Online coverage on journalist Marlene Esperat's murder case

Parcon, who was in his sixties, lost consciousness Monday afternoon and did not anymore reach the hospital alive.

Fellow Councilor Pedro Palu-ay said Parcon fell from his seat during the attack.

His co-members boarded him into an ambulance driven by Palu-ay but the councilor's heartbeat faded while they were driving him to the hospital.
