Korean drowns in Boracay
THE Boracay Police are conducting an investigation on the drowning of a Korean National in Sitio Manggayad, Barangay Manoc-Manoc, Boracay Island, Aklan.
Even though the companions of the victim Cha Hae Jin, 26 said that she drowned while swimming last Sept. 8, 2006, the police is still investigating the possibility of foul play.
The incident happened at around 2:45 p.m. while Jin and her three companions were swimming. When she went to the deeper portion of the waters, she was seen sinking.
Jin’s companions did not mind because they thought that she could swim. They only responded when she was about to sink.
Jin was rushed to Metropolitan Doctor Medical Clinic but she died later. The police are now probing her three companions for more information. (RPS)
