Cebu Pacific offers 10 connecting routes from Iloilo

CEBU Pacific (CEB), the country's low fare leader and leading domestic carrier, has expanded its domestic coverage further by introducing 10 domestic route connections from Iloilo.

Last November 22, 2006 CEB started offering 10 connecting routes from Iloilo via Manila and Cebu, with through fares starting from P799 one-way. Fares are exclusive of surcharges and government tax.

"It's always been our vision to make air travel available to more Filipinos. From offering 2 direct services from Iloilo, now, with these route connections, we are able offer 10 additional routes and connect more islands from Iloilo, further serving the needs of the people here in Iloilo. Once again, we are giving travelers more options and providing a convenient alternative for traveling within the country," Candice Iyog, CEB marketing director said.

CEB will provide an attractive through fare as part of the connecting product, together with a check-through baggage connection service from the origin station to the end-destination of the guest. CEB's domestic flight connections will significantly expand its domestic network coverage and will benefit both business and leisure markets.

"CEB is now reaching more people and connecting more islands by air and, more importantly, providing the lowest airfare for these connecting routes. Guests can save as much as 13 percent by availing of our through fares than if they were to buy separate tickets for their flight connection. Many of our guests have been requesting for this enhanced service because they are already taking advantage of our year-round low fares on the direct services and want the same when they travel to other destinations." Iyog added.

CEB will provide connecting flights from Iloilo to Laoag and Roxas for only P799, to Dumaguete, Tacloban, Tagbilaran and Davao (via Cebu) for P999, and to Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Dipolog and Davao (via Manila) for P1,299.

Now in its 11th year, CEB has the newest fleet in the Philippines with a fleet age of less than 9 months, and one of the newest in Asia as it operates 12 brand new Airbus aircraft to its 20 domestic and 6 regional destinations. The airline awaits the delivery of two more Airbus aircraft in early 2007 to complete its US$670 million re-fleeting program.
