ROXAS CITY -- The proposed Trans-Visayas Friendship Bridges connecting the island provinces of Bohol to Cebu, Bohol to Southern Leyte, Cebu to Negros Oriental, Negros Occidental to Iloilo and Iloilo to Guimaras is now one step nearer to reality with the very strong endorsement of the Regional Development Council in Western Visayas.
City Hall employees to get P10T bonus
ILOILO City Mayor Jerry P. Treñas recently ordered the immediate release of P10,000 as additional cash gifts to more or less 1,800 regular employees upon the city's receipt of the Department of Budget's (DBM) guidelines on the bonuses.
