A Greenwich favorite makes a sizzling return

THERE'S much ado about this popular Kapampangan delicacy called sisig. Originally, sisig is a local term in Pampanga which means to snack on something sour. It usually refers to fruits, often unripe or half-ripe, sometimes dipped in salt and vinegar. It also refers to a method of preparing fish and meat, especially pork, which is marinated in a sour liquid such as lemon juice or vinegar, then seasoned with salt, pepper and other spices.

Nowadays, it is popularly known as sizzling sisig, a Philippine dish made from various parts of a pig and usually seasoned with kalamansi or chili peppers. It is then fried with onions and served on a sizzling plate.

Variations of the sisig may include eggs, chicharon (pork cracklings), pork or chicken liver, and even mayonnaise. Recently, local chefs have experimented with ingredients other than pork such as chicken, squid, tuna and even tofu, which brings sisig back to its origins. Last year, Greenwich, the Philippines' no.1 pizza chain, presented an innovative twist with the introduction of the Greenwich Sisig Pizza.

Known for its creativity and innovativeness in developing delicious pizza products, Greenwich created the Sisig Pizza with its delicious crust, classic pizza sauce, mouth-watering combination of mozzarella and special cheese and of course, the sumptuous sizzle of sisig, onions, green bell peppers topped with crushed chicharon. The Sisig Pizza instantly became a success during its initial run which led many customers to request for its appetizing comeback.

Due to insistent public demand, the Greenwich Sisig Pizza makes a sizzling return this November to satisfy your craving for unique and delicious pizza products. It is available in solo, double, family and square pizza sizes in over 200 Greenwich outlets nationwide.
So what are you waiting for? Now's the time to enjoy this uniquely Filipino favorite that will certainly keep you coming back for more. Call your favorite Greenwich store nearest you for Garantisadong hot and on time delivery now./PR
