Messenger loses P150T to armed men By Ruby P. Silubrico
A MESSENGER of a door-to-door courier company lost P150,000 to two armed men yesterday at Barangay Ayong, Cabatuan, Iloilo.

The victim was Jesus Gomez, 29, of Ayong, Cabatuan and a messenger of BTI Courier Express with office located at Quezon-Ledesma Sts., Iloilo City.
PO2 Reynaldo Baiting of Cabatuan Police Station said that Gomez was riding a motorcycle and was on his way to deliver money to the neighboring village when two men blocked his way.
They poked a gun at Gomez and asked for his money.
Before leaving the place, the two robbers tied Gomez at a waiting shed, covered his mouth and fled.
The robbers used Gomez's motorcycle as their getaway vehicle.
As of press time, the motorcycle wasn't recovered.
