Pedro Trono Memorial Hospital from P23.446 to P21.356; Dr. Ricardo Y. Ladrido Memorial Hospital from P22.941 to P20.893 million; Don Valerio Palmares District Hospital from P3.470 million to P4.172 million;

Sara District Hospital from P20.901 to P22.637; Barotac Viejo District Hospital from P11.426 million to P13.161 million; Ramon Tirador District Hospital from P16.225 million to P14.360 million.

Projected increase

The hike in the budget was the development from the projected increase in the annual income of the Provincial Government this year.

The income from local and business taxes augmented the expected increase. Also noted was an increase in the hospital's income after the slight increase in the hospital user's fees added to the rise of the provincial income from P856,002,159 in 2006 to P979,867,375 this year.

Governor Niel Tupas Sr said that that the income earned after the implementation of the increase in the user's fees was returned to the hospital so it could deliver fast and efficient services to the people in the province, who earlier go to the city because the district hospitals could not handle their cases with ill-equipped machines and lack of personnel.
