By Marie Katherine Villalon

CITY Councilor Erlinda Liberiaga was offered to be the running mate of former Mayor Mansueto Malabor in the coming May 2007 elections for the post of vice mayor.

This was revealed in a radio interview with Liberiaga Tuesday.

"I will think about it. I have no money. But they offered to spend for me," Liberiaga was quoted as saying.

Also, she was urged to run as Congresswoman for the Lone District of Iloilo.

But, she said she refused this because she does not want to run against the Gonzalezes. It was revealed that the Gonzalezes have helped Liberiaga and her husband in the past.
