Graduating Councilor Liberiaga said De la Llana has tried to call him many times and was asking for his nod to the proposition. The latter though, has not expressed interest yet. Neither did he express his political plans.
De la Llana is presently under Drilon's Liberal Party. Reports showed that his name does not appear in mayoralty bets or in the next higher position, though nothing was made final by the party yet.
Liberiaga has earlier announced her decision to "fight political giants" in the city -- the tandem of Treñas and Representative Raul Gonzalez Jr.
She said former Manila congressman and Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez Sr's antagonist Mark Jimenez will support her campaign.
