Capiz, Bacolod police offices rank first in 2006

THE Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) was adjudged as best police provincial office while Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) is the best city police office for 2006.

The awarding ceremony was held Monday at Camp Delgado during the 16th Philippine National Police (PNP) anniversary celebration.

CPPO Director Co Yee Co and BCPO Director Pedro Merced received the plaque of merit from Regional Director Wilfredo Dulay.

Roxas City Police Station is the best police station in the component cities category while Oton Police Station topped as best police station in municipal level.

The 606th Provincial Mobile Group based in Tigbauan, Iloilo was awarded as best mobile group while for the non-uniformed personnel was Maricel Eligio of Camp Delgado.

It was learned that the Roxas City Police Station under Supt Domingo Cabillan is also a contender for the national award, which will be invested on Jan. 31, 2007.

Other top contenders for component cities are Cauayan City, Isabela City and Talisay City of Cebu City.

Dulay congratulated his men for working hard for the community.
