Sun.Star Iloilo celebrates 13th year
IN CONNECTION to its 13th anniversary, Sun.Star Iloilo will be holding a medical, dental, and feeding mission on August 2 at Barangay Kaingin, La Paz, Iloilo City.
Beneficiaries will avail of services like free medicine, consultation, tooth extraction, and deworming.

Also, Sun.Star Iloilo will conduct feeding to the residents of the said barangay, especially to the children, who are in great need of health and dietary allowance.
The medical, dental, and feeding mission will start at 8 a.m. and will end at about 12 noon.
Sun.Star Iloilo editorial and admin staff will assist the volunteer doctors and nurses in the activity.
The project is in partnership with the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) headed by Jeannette Oberio, Iloilo Integrated Lion's Club, Iloilo Professional Lions Club, Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA), Pepsi, Ted's La Paz Batchoy, BobYan Marketing, Molo County Bakeshop, Andoks, Milagros Jardiolyn, Rommel Castro, Dr. Bemerly Jardiolyn - Sira, Dr. Jocelyn Santerva, Dr. Sonia Gallon, Dr. Geraldine Adorador, and Dr. Lea Salazar.
Sun.Star Iloilo has been conducting outreach programs for years as part of its public service to the people of Iloilo, aside from its responsible, fearless, and fair information dissemination.
Sun.Star Iloilo is a member of the Sun.Star network of community newspapers with affiliates in Manila, Cebu, Pampanga, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Baguio, Bacolod, Pangasinan, Zamboanga, Dumaguete, and General Santos.
The paper was an offshoot of Western Visayas Daily Times, the first daily newspaper in the region. On its 10th year, it was renamed as Sun.Star Iloilo. (EC)
