Poblacion Ilawod Barangay Captain Leonardo Bearnod Jr., who arrested the suspects, said that prior to the arrest, he tasked his barangay tanods to check the information if there were really some persons having a pot session in the house.
Bearnod then proceeded to the area around 10:30 a.m. after his tanods confirmed the information.
When Bearnod, together with the police, checked the area they recovered 14 bags of marijuana and other drugs paraphernalia.
Bearnod added that the four arrested persons were also suspects in a series of robberies in their town.
"They were under surveillance for more than two weeks because we received information that they are using and pushing drugs in our area until they were finally arrested," Bearnod said. (RPS)
