Lingap-Kapwa is an advocate of the pro-poor program of the government.
Treñas said he welcomes the gesture of MIAA. The city, he added, is now in the rehabilitation phase after the flood onslaughts last June 21 and 22.
The MIAA mission include gift-giving of 2,000 plastic bags containing sardines, corned beef, milk, noodles, rice and mineral water; supplemental feeding for 2,000 men, women and children; and medical consultation with free vitamins and medicines to 500 patients.
Lingap-Kapwa chairman Butch Bautista, MIAA administrative department manager, wrote Treñas about their intention to help the city's flood victims. With them are the current Ms. Earth and her court.
