Tuesday, September 23, 2008 Woman with arrest warrant falls
A WOMAN, who had an arrest warrant for using a bouncing check, was arrested Sunday at Calumpang, Molo, Iloilo City.
SPOI Elmer Siacon and PO2 Jimmy Mosquera, Philippine National Police (PNP) members of Molo Police Station under the direct supervision of Station Commander Danilo De Los Santos, arrested 36-year-old Perlita Asperga of Zone 6, Calumpang, Molo.
Asperga, a widow, had an arrest warrant for committing three counts criminal cases for violating Batas Pambansa (BP) 22 or The Anti-Bouncing Check Law dated June 26, 2008.
Honorable Judge Devina Gracia Lopez Pelino of Branch 68 of Municipal Trial Court (MTC) in Pasig City (NCR) issued the warrant of arrest with Criminal Case Numbers 99408-10.
The bail bond recommended is P 2,000 for each count of violation.
Asperga is detained at Molo Police Station (Iloilo City Police Station 4) lock-up cell. Police authorities said she will be turned-over to Pasig. (ICPO-PIO)
