Families of 20 flood victims to receive cash aid

FAMILIES of the twenty flood victims in this city will receive financial cash assistance on Fridayfrom the National Disaster Coordinating Council (NDCC) and Office of Civil Defense.

Engineer Jose Papa, city coordinator of the City Disaster Coordinating Center said the awarding of the check to the families of the 20 dead victims will be held at the office of Mayor Jerry P. Treñas at 10:30 in the morning.

The selected families are victims of the June 21-22 Typhoon Frank which hit the city and destroyed several houses, schools and other infrastructures here.

Papa said that the recipients are the families of dead victims Phoebe Brillantes, Loreto G. Jolo Sr., Elsa B. de la Cthe ruz, Michael J. Trono, Felicisima V. Rice, Lyka A. Conde, Dennis T. Castor and Kert S. Policarpio, Lilia L. Dumancas, Renato N. Deretcho, Domingo S. Anzures, Gerwin R. Salazar, Jimson R. Salazar, Marnie M. Flores, Dolores F. Dato-on, Mary Joy N. Dato-on; all from the district of Jaro; Arturo Segovia of Brgy. Magsaysay, La Paz, John Kenneth Apura of Brgy. Banuyao, La Paz, Eduardo Erfe of Brgy. Tabucan, Mandurriao, and Florence Nathalie T.
