Meteor Rain: When it rains, it pours

So you can't get home early enough to catch them on TV. You can't wake up early enough on weekends to do it either. And you still have not gotten over this Meteor fever everyone seems to be inflicted with... Well, the remedy is here: the Meteor Rain Series 4-VCD Set!
Have you ever wondered why Dao Ming Shi finds it hard to trust people? What kind of girl would catch Mei Zhuo's attention? Has Xi Men ever fallen in love? Get answers from "Meteor Rain," three short films about the lives of F4 before they met Shan Chai, packaged in a 4-VCD box set.
The short series stars the original cast of "Meteor Garden," and was filmed during the hiatus between the first and second season of the well-loved chinovela. The "Dao Ming Shi" episode stars Jerry Yan in his old role as the arrogant F4 leader and shows how much of a troublemaker he was in high school -- and how much it cost him.
In this 2-VCD film, he gets a close look at how other people live and sees a sharp contrast from his wealthy world; he goes into hiding from the police because he doesn't want his problems solved by his family's money. He also learns how punishment is more severe when it affects the people you care about. Which is why he is staunchly protective of the people he cares about in the present: Hua Ze Lei, Mei Zhuo, Xi Men, CheChe and Shan Chai. And eventually, Ye Sha...
We know that Mei Zhuo (Vanness Wu) is always trying to fix Ah Shi's relationship with Shan Chai, but what about relationships of his own? The "Mei Zhuo" episode actually occurs during "Meteor Garden I," while Dao Ming Shi is inconsolable about Shan Chai's disappearance.
During this search, Mei Zhuo finds himself a victim of a pickpocket. He manages to catch his thief, a perky girl named Ai Sa, who in turn manages to fool Mei Zhuo again and again, capturing his interest instead of his ire. He later falls for her.
The "Xi Men" episode starts off with the present - with a visit from Xiao Yo - then takes us back to high school, when Xi Men was already a consummate playboy. Xiao Yo's return from Canada scares Xi Men a bit because it implies the strength of her feelings for him and he isn't sure he wants to return the emotion.
The series also stars Vic Zhou as Hua Ze Lei.
Get to know Dao Ming Shi, Mei Zhuo and Xi Men a little better. The Meteor Rain Series 4-VCD Set is available in music and video stores nationwide.
