The kids have spoken! Tini Wini Strawberry Sundae wins!
TINI Wini's Awesome Cookie Election comes to an exciting end with the Tini Wini Victory Bash -- an enthralling event where kids definitely ruled. Held at the SM Megamall last Sunday, the Tini Wini Victory Bash was organized to formally proclaim the winning variant at the recently concluded Tini Wini Awesome Cookie Election.
Strawberry Sundae was declared the winner over Orange Slush, garnering more than 62 percent of the votes. Strawberry Sundae joins the other leading flavors of Tini Wini which are Cookies n' Crème, Choco Fudge and Very Nutty Butter.
With a new flavor comes a new mascot. Sundy Bear, the official mascot of Tini Wini Strawberry Sundae made his debut appearance at the Tini Wini Victory Bash. Kids welcomed Sundy Bear with open arms, just like the flavor he represents.
The Tini Wini Victory Bash was also headlined by its spokespersons: KC Montero and Heaven Arespacochaga. The two are so close (with Heaven being the son of KC's longtime girlfriend Geneva Cruz) that they are even closer than any average dad-and-kid tandem.
"Heaven calls me daddy-o," shares KC. "We love playing video games together, watching TV, listening to music and, of course, sharing lots and lots of Tini Wini cookies." Meanwhile, Heaven says of KC, "I love my daddy-yo! He's the best!"
KC and Heaven toured different malls and other venues to spread the word and empower kids by giving them the opportunity to choose between Strawberry Sundae and Orange Slush. Kids were then asked to cast their votes and it was tabulated. Because of its victory, Strawberry Sundae is now officially the newest flavor of Tini Wini.
"We are overwhelmed by the response of kids to the election," says Mark Tiangco, Marketing of Monde Nissin. "Kids and their parents took part in this election. They saw it as a bonding activity and the kids most especially were quite excited that, finally, their voices will be heard.
We even overheard one kid saying to his mom that voting for the Awesome Cookie Election is the most grown-up thing he's ever done and he really appreciates it. And, now, he and thousands of other kids will see their efforts bloom as Strawberry Sundae is now officially the new Tini Wini variant. Strawberry Sundae is truly the kids' choice."
Meanwhile, the Tini Wini Victory Bash was a fun-filled afternoon for the whole family. The program started with an exciting performance from jugglers, acrobats and a kiddie drum and lyre company. It was immediately followed by a puppet show featuring Ellie Fudge.
Kids also had a blast during the fun games like the cookie-eating contest, longest Tini Wini game and a spoon relay challenge, among many others. Besides having fun, kids spent an educational afternoon as a Mad Science Show was staged, later followed by a mall parade.
KC Montero and Heaven Arespacochaga led the fun with their celebrity friends, John Pratts, Nikki Valdez, Cheena Hortaleza and Goyong, who did their respective production numbers to the delight of the kids and their parents. Sundy Bear made his first appearance in this event to lead the distribution of dozens and dozens of Tini Wini Strawberry Sundae cookies to the guests.
"Tini Wini is all about having fun and this is certainly one fun event," says KC Montero. "It's a perfect book-end for the Awesome Cookie Election because the whole experience for me and Heaven was just exactly that, simply awesome!"
