Ryan Agoncillo hosts Studio 23's 'Kiss the Cook'

STUDIO 23 premieres the new local cooking show Kiss the Cook beginning Saturday, November 8, 11:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m., preprogramming the Saturday edition of Lunch Box-Office.

Kiss the Cook reintroduces the joy of cooking to the modern day foodie.

Host Ryan Agoncillo, brings back the fun into cooking with an upbeat show for the single people on the go, young couples just starting out and basically every kitchen neophyte who wants to whip up quick and easy dishes minus the hassle.

It is for those who love eating and may be interested in cooking, but are intimidated with heavy kitchen work, are too busy, or inexperienced with cooking matters.

The end goal of the show is to make non-cooking people realize that cooking is not something they should be intimidated with. Watch Ryan as he demystifies the kitchen.

He comes up with impressive dishes that are easy to prepare and require very minimal cooking time. Adding more life to the show are the weekly celebrity guests, who will inject fun and humor to Ryan's cooking and dining experience.

In some cases these guests may also participate in the actual preparation. If the guests are happy with the food, they get to give Ryan a kiss. If the guest is male, he invites a female celebrity to kiss Ryan.

Viewers will be treated to Ryan's funny antics, humor, and experimental nature in the kitchen. He will not project himself as an expert. On the contrary, he will be doing a lot of exploration and experimentation with his weekly recipes.

Fun, romance and even music -- you can watch all that and more in what promises to be an exciting culinary experience on Kiss the Cook.

Kiss the Cook will also be seen Sundays at 6:00 p.m. on the Lifestyle Channel.
