DFA attends to Pinoys affected by Saudi bombing

PRESIDENT Arroyo said Monday that the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) is attending to the needs of Filipinos affected by the blast that rocked a housing complex for foreigners in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Saturday midnight.

Arroyo said the DFA, particularly Philippine embassy officials in Saudi Arabia, are ensuring that Filipinos are kept out of harm's way in case of more attacks.

Arroyo, in a statement, expressed condolences to the people of Saudi Arabia and she hoped that Lolita Montealto, a wounded Filipina helper, would recover
quickly.
