New list of kidnappers released
By Miko Santos

NATIONAL Anti-Kidnapping Task Force (Naktaf) chief Angelo Reyes Tuesday revealed the identities of 14 more alleged kidnappers in line with the government's strategy to address the kidnapping menace.

Reyes said the 14 represent the second batch of suspects being pursued by joint military and police elements of the Naktaf.

"To sustain our tempo, we are presenting another roster of 14 most wanted kidnappers in addition to the 10 we presented to you before," Reyes said.

"Hopefully, we can get the same positive response we received with the previous publication," Reyes added.

Reyes said anyone with information on the whereabouts of any of the suspects can call the Naktaf's hotline at 727-0000.

The suspected kidnappers, who each have a P500,000 bounty, were identified as Teddy Padre, Neil Cutad, Romeo Puria, Felizardo Pagulayan, Ronnie Tan, More Panday, Ambrudin Maracarilang, Ronald Roilan, Pecasiano Tagle, Joel Bunales, Sergio

Earlier, the Naktaf released to the public the identities of the nine top kidnapping gang leaders operating in the country.

The Nataf agents killed the most wanted kidnap gang leader, Dr. Roberto Obeles-Yap, in an encounter in Bataan while two others, Vilmor Catamco and Alan Niegas, were arrested.
