Season 2 of 24 begins Jan. 18

Emmy nominee and Golden Globe winner Kiefer Sutherland returns to ABS-CBN for another intense day in the life of Agent Jack Bauer in the second season of 24, starting this Sunday, January 18 at 9:30 p.m.

This time, be prepared for an even more intense experience as ABS-CBN airs two action-packed episodes back to back for a must-see look into another hellish day for Jack Bauer right after Ang Tanging Ina, the Series.

So what should fans expect in 24 Season 2? The new series opens three years after the events that transpired in the first season, and many things have, indeed, changed.

Senator David Palmer is now President David Palmer. Nina Myers is in jail for her part in the Drazens’ terrorist plans, as well as her murder of Jack’s wife, Teri. And Jack has dealt with his guilt over Teri’s death by retreating more into himself, quitting his job in CTU in the process.

But now a new threat looms over the free world, as terrorists have planted a nuclear bomb in Los Angeles, and Jack Bauer’s the only man both CTU and President Palmer trust to keep the city safe.

But can Jack fight his demons to do what the President asks of him? Is one man enough to stop a rumored Middle Eastern organization from detonating the bomb? And in the midst of all of this, can he find a way to make sure his daughter Kim gets out of the city – and away from the reach of the bomb in case it explodes?

Watch Kiefer Sutherland go through another long day in Jack Bauer’s life in 24’s Tagalized season 2 starting this Sunday, January 18 at 9:30 p.m.
