Gloria expresses sympathy to Zobels over demise of patriarch

PRESIDENT Arroyo sent her sympathies to the family of businessman Enrique Zobel who passed away at the Asian Hospital in Alabang Monday morning.

Presidential spokesman Ignacio Bunye said Zobel is a known industrialist and philanthropist.

Zobel has been credited "for having played a significant role in the development of the central business district in Makati."

"The President joins the members of the business community in expressing her sympathies to the family of the late Don Enrique Zobel," he added. JMR
