Philippines-Iran biz forum held
A HIGH-level delegation from the Iran Chamber of Commerce and Mines (Iccim) headed by Faraydon Entazari was in the country last Monday to Wednesday to establish business ties with the Philippine business sector.
Seizing the excellent opportunity to increase business interactions and cultivate new ones with Iran, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), through the Philippines-Iran Business Council (PIBC) and in cooperation with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), organized a Philippines-Iran Business Forum Wednesday at the Dusit Hotel in Makati City to highlight the trade and investment opportunities from both countries.
The forum featured government officials and senior business executives, who talked on trade and investment opportunities resulting in a stronger and closer economic cooperation between the Philippines and Iran.
Trade Secretary Cesar V. Purisima and Iran Commerce Minister Mohammad Sharttiatmadi attended the forum as guests of honor and keynote sspeakers during the event.
The forum featured Philippine and Iranian businessmen who have successfully penetrated their respective markets and shared valuable insights and expertise in doing business in the Philippines and Iran.
The event was attended by Filipino businessmen and Manila-based Iranian investors. (PR)
