Smallville begins 4th season on Studio 23 Tuesday
WE ALL know and love the familiar characters on Studio 23's "before he was Superman" drama Smallville. There's hapless but heroic high-schooler Clark Kent. His super-rich good buddy Lex Luthor. His on-again, off-again girlfriend Lana Lang. Good-guy parents Jonathan and Martha Kent. Intrepid reporter Chloe Sullivan. And Lois Lane.
Wait, Lois Lane?
That's right - it was only a matter of time before The Man of Steel's once and future love Lois Lane made her long-awaited Smallville debut. And that she does this Tuesday, April 26, at 9:10 p.m., when Studio 23 opens up Smallville's fourth season on Philippine TV with the episode "Crusade".
Actress Erica Durance takes on the role of Lois Lane in this exciting episode, as Lois first makes her entrance in a most unexpected manner - nearly running over a naked, amnesiac Clark Kent (Tom Welling) in the middle of a Kansas cornfield. Neither is there by coincidence: Lois is there to investigate the death of her cousin Chloe (Allison Mack), while Clark has seemingly fallen from the sky, deposited there by his Kryptonian father, Jor-El.
Meanwhile, the people around Clark are also struggling to move on. Lana (Kristin Kreuk) is in Paris, and may have found another man (new series regular Jensen Ackles, formerly of Dark Angel). Clark's father Jonathan Kent (John Schneider) is in a comatose state, tended by Martha (Annette O'Toole). And Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) deals with the fact that his tycoon father Lionel (John Glover) is now in prison - and Lex wants him there.
Will Clark regain his memory? Will Jonathan wake up from his coma? Will Lois find her cousin? Will Lex be able to keep his father in jail without Chloe's testimony? Will Lana come back? And will everyone go back to being the Smallville characters we all know and love? Find out in this new and improved fourth season, as Studio 23 presents the season premiere of Smallville this Tuesday, April 26, right after Angel.
