Florida beats Aquinas in San Juan cage tilt
FLORIDA Institute of San Juan sent Aquinas School reeling to its second straight loss, 80-66 and in the process gained the top spot at the end of the single round eliminations of the 4th San Juan Inter-High School basketball tournament at the San Juan Gym held last Saturday.
Florida Institute closed out its sked with a 5-1 record while Aquinas, which led for most part of the tournament, dropped into a three-way tie for second place at 4-2 with Philippine Chen Kuang High and defending champion San Juan National High School.
