Studio 23 marks 9th year with 'Baybreak'
LOOKING for a good Barkada Trip? Then get yourself over to the Baywalk along Roxas Boulevard in Manila Saturday when Studio 23 celebrates its ninth anniversary with the free all-media event "Baybreak".
Much like last year's event, this year's "Baybreak" promises a fun gimik for the entire family, with Studio 23 stars and of today's top bands coming together on three stages for one big celebration, which starts promptly at 6 p.m. Studio 23 has even brought in special attractions like drumbeaters, acrobats and fire-eaters, as well as a special fireworks display at 9 p.m. and 12 a.m.
Studio 23 stars will come in full force to celebrate their home network's birthday, with the Yellow Stage home to "F" hosts Angel Aquino, Daphne Oseña and Amanda Griffin; "Breakfast" mainstays Bam Aquino, Wacky Valdes, Patty Laurel, Atom Araullo, Angel Rivero and JC Cuadrado; and "Sports Report" hosts TJ Manotoc and Tricia Chiongbian.
The Orange Stage will have Jhong Hilario, Spencer Reyes and Danilo Barrios of "Nginiiiig"; Chinggay Andrada, Bobby Yan, Jinno Rufino, Beau Canlas and George Rocha of "Sports TV"; and Studio 23 video jocks Juddha Paolo and Ayanna Oliva.
Finally, the Green Stage will have "Wazzup Wazzup" tadjocks Jaja Bolivar, Nina, Erika, Vince and Einar; Manu Sandejas, Iya Yotoko and Archie Alemania of "D-Tour"; "Pinoy Big Brother" host Asia Agcaoili; and Ryan Agoncillo of "Y Speak".
Artists performing in this very special event include Rivermaya, Hale, Mojofly, Juan Pablo Dream, Bloomfields, Kitchie Nadal, Erik Santos, Orange and Lemons, Barbie Almalbis, Tropical Depression, Razorback, 6 Cycle Mind, Brownman Revival, Spongecola, Sandwich, Sugarfree, Sandwich, Kjwan, Pupil, DJ Phat Bone, Mike Swift, DJ Kimosave, MC Chase, Legit Misfitz, Pikaso, 7 Shots of Wisdom, K24/7 and many others.
