Benguet hosts dart tilt
BIGTIME darting swings to cool Baguio City as the Provincial Government of Benguet, the Baguio Darters Association Inc. (Bdai), Jhuneco, Cozy Nook and the Darts Council of the Philippines (DCP) jointly stage the fourth Benguet Open Darts Championship (BODC) 2005 starting Wednesday up to October 31 in two separate venues - the Summit Hall at Camp John Hay and the Cozy Nook along Magsaysay Avenue.
BODC 05 is supported by Benguet Governor Bonjo Melchor, San Miguel Beer Pale Pilsen and the DCP, which accords ranking points to the winners of the women's and men's singles events of the tournament.
The national competition is participated in by the country's finest darters. BODC 2005 offers a total of P112,000 as prize money plus special non-cash awards spread over nine events that start with an open doubles (draw) event at 6 p.m. Wednesday night.
