Pearl Darts Classic tilt marks 6th leg
THE sixth leg of the Pearl Darts Classic (PDC) Classified doubles tournament fires off Saturday night at the Pearl Billiards/Darts and Bar in Parañaque City.
The PDC, Metro Manila's longest running monthly darts series, is organized by the Pearl Billiards Bar and it guarantees a total of P10,200 in cash prizes for the top eight teams.
In preparation for the Phlmasters '06 darts championship, a Darts Council of the Philippines (DCP) national ranking/rating event set on July 28 to 30 in Baguio City, the PDC is adopting an all-01 event (501 best-of-three for the winners' bracket and 701 (one leg for the losers' bracket).
Registration begins at 7:30 p.m. Games start at 9:30 p.m. Welcome drinks will be given to the first 64 registrants.
Winner of the June leg were Botchok Gruta and Sonny Viray who defeated the pair of Fidel Palad and Jeffrey Ramirez in the finals. Ding Sumulong/ Bobby Estrella and Ricky Santiago/Joseph Figueroa were third and fourth, respectively.
