Convergys names new senior operations manager in Cebu
CONVERGYS Corporation has announced the promotion of Rochelle "Ochie" Eala to senior operations manager in its Cebu City contact centre.
Eala joined Convergys as a team leader in March 2004 and was promoted to manager in October 2004. Ochie's career with Convergys began in Metro Manila and has since taken her to Cebu, where she will continue to work in her new role.
She was instrumental in the success of both an agent productivity initiative and a leadership transition initiative that were executed in the past six months.
Eala has been influential in establishing processes as well as validating and evolving current leadership methods and procedures to better serve ever-changing client needs.
Convergys' nine state-of-the-art facilities in Metro Manila and Cebu City employ nearly 9,000 men and women who provide support via telephone, web-chat, and email for a diverse portfolio of clients and their customers worldwide. (Press release)
