Doubles dart tourney set Saturday
TEAM Coolnest resumes its monthly series with another classified doubles tournament on Saturday at the Coolnest Bar And Restaurant along Taft Avenue (near De La Salle University).
Coolnest Darts Series guarantees a pot money of P10,000 cash plus trophies per leg for the winners. Dartboard from Terton Craft raffled off during the tournament
Last month's leg drew 40 teams and more darters are expected to see action in Saturday night's shootout in Manila's premier darts venue. More so, the tournament serves as a tune-up for the country's finest darters who will compete in the forthcoming Darts Council of the Philippines (DCP) National Open Singles Championship set August 25 to 27 at the Sportszone in Cagayan de Oro City.
Raul dela Flor of Lovables and Gil Beltran (Manila) were champions of the July leg after beating the tandem of Eric Bautista (Terton) and Warren Perolino (3M) in the finals.
Games are 501-killers-501 (best-of-three) for the winners' bracket and 701 one-leg for the losers. Entry fee is P150 per player (inclusive of one free drink for the first 64 registrants). Registration starts at 7:30 p.m. and games commence at 9 p.m. (Press release)
